Thomas D. (Tom) Ray is Director, Small
and Disadvantaged Business Utilization,
Defense Logistics Agency.
Mr. Ray received a MBA from George
Washington University, and is a
graduate of the Industrial College of the
Armed Forces. He has been awarded the DLA Meritorious Civilian
Service Award, Hammer Award, and Exceptional Civilian Service
Award.
Mr. Ray graduated from the University of Tennessee. Following
active duty in the U. S.Army, he was employed by the National
Federation of Independent Business. In 1973, he accepted a position
with the Defense Supply Agency (now the Defense Logistics
Agency). He advanced to Assistant Executive Director,
Procurement, in 1995 and was appointed Director, Small and
Disadvantaged Business Utilization, in 2000.
