Since 2003, Mr. Ciardello served as the
strategic integrator of small business
programs, including Mentor-Protégé,
Small Business Innovative Research and
Small Business Technology Transfer.
Joining DoD in 1996 as the Director of Industrial Base
Transformation, reporting to the Deputy Under Secretary for
Industrial Policy. He was awarded the 2000 Presidential
Meritorious Executive Rank Award and the 2001 Secretary of
Defense Medal for Meritorious Civilian Service. Received a B.A. in
Economics from Boston College in 1965 and his M.B.A.from
Harvard School of Business in 1969.
