The Ravens Group is a full function marketing, business development and consulting company located in Washington, DC.Within a relatively short period of time, LTG Ballard skillfully guided rapid growth of the company and helped to significantly increase business growth for its clients. He has facilitated numerous business development opportunities with several amounting to over $20 million each in gross value.

His last military assignment was as the 49th Chief of Engineers and Commander, United States Army Corps of Engineers.The President of the United States appointed him to this prestigious position in 1996. His strong leadership guided the Corps in assisting recovery from natural disasters, regulating work in the nation’s waterways and wetlands, conducting research and development, serving as the Army and Air Force real estate agent, and providing engineering services to 60 federal agencies and more than 80 nations.

LTG Ballard’s military honors include the Distinguished Service Medal (two awards), Legion of Merit (three awards), Bronze Star Medal (two awards), Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal (four awards).
